I'm embarrassed to call myself a Steelers Fan after that game. Now even if they win out, it's not a lock.

Really had hoped to hear something today about a job prospect.. if this doesn't come through, I don't know what's going to happen.. it's getting pretty serious now.

It's finally popping some flurries, if I prayed, it would be for a job and a white christmas.

Someone I used to work with is seperating from their husband. Let's just say she is a stone fox. Is there an unwritten rule of how long to wait before ask someone recently separated out? :)

Another night sitting at home probably playing EQ and watching football. /sigh

Song of the Day: I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

well..

deleted a whole bunch of posts, no sense keeping them to remind me of That F'in Job(tm) and what I went through

almost another end to a very miserable year.

unemployed, and unattached. easy to shop for presents that way.. no one even to go to dinner with.. notsomuch

the holidays bring back all the memories of what I have lost.. spending a lot of time watching Christmas movies praying any little bit of 'holiday magic' might find its way here

I've been reading a lot of blogs of late.

Really Really like That's Church. Funny and Honest.
Burgh Baby - if that's what it's like raising children, hmm... scary! Was I like that at that age?
Callapitter - heartbreaking. (is it wrong of me to look at her picture and think she is the most beautiful women I've ever seen? under different circumstances, I would think very hard of asking her out.)

Song of the Day - Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! (god it feels good finally being able to use that one :) )

ahh.. the joys of a 1/2 day of work

in honor of seeing AC/DC tonite, the song of the day is For Those About To Rock, We Salute You

First Post!

A New Year - a new plan

after spending years trying to rid the world of 'useless' internet traffic, I'm waiving the white flag on this battle and dipping my toe into this new social media thing. That doesn't mean I still don't hate Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and all that!

The name of the blog comes from my many years deep in the trenches of the IT world. It's what you get when things just break, with no warning, no notice, and no information of how to fix things. The kind of thing that drives lusers crazy, because when they ask why something is broken, we can't give them a straight answer.
